The Hair Cut Day

Yes today is the day, the Hair Cut Day... which somehow im trying to tell myself i shall leave my hair longer for the hair cut. BUT in the end, i got the hair cut today...

Carol kept on reminding me about my hair cut ever since the orientation week... at first i thought that she was just joking about bringing me for a hair cut to change my hair style... and letting my hair down...

i was kinda like err.... letting my hair down??

it would be mission impossible to me right?

well, u know letting hair down is sth like a task for me...

i never let my hair down unless after washing my hair and letting it dry. That's the only time i let my hair down... the rest of the time is like no! no! for me.

from a girl to a lady >>> is it possible ? sheesh...

i probabaly would only thought of it after i graduate lah...

Now Carol was thinking of "changing" me a bit 1st ... ok well, let's see how it goes...

Yes, dunno to day that im lucky or carol's lucky... cuz this afternoon had a super heavy rain man!! i thought it would rain the whole afternoon so that i sort of can run away from Carol's hair cut planning... well, it had stopped after i had my lunch...

what kind of hair cut should i have??

really no idea man...

my last hair cut at the saloon was like 4 or 5 years ago? and the rest of time are mostly cut by Aunt Do.

went to asked at CutAbove... walilei!! the price is sooooo expensive... absolutely no way!

next stop, *for got what name*, price is lower.... rm 30++

last stop, APT, also rm30++...

ok lor, then choose APT

was flipping through the magazines...

most of them need to longer hair to cut that sort of hair cut...

oh well...

ok, yeap.. finally got one...

sitting on the chair for one hour plus...

waiting to get my hair washed... felt that my head was heavy when i got my hair wet and full of bubbling soaps :( now i understand y Carol ask me for a hair cut

watching my hair being cut and fall all the way down from my shoulder....

dried...

then finally completed...

what was i thinking that time?

i wasn't thinking about anything much...

the only thing im thinking is, can i actually tahan of no tieing my hair or clipping my hair

and how would my hair end up after the cut...

well who know? it's quite satisfying...

and very thanks to Carol for the treat :)

then went for some window shopping... trying on some cloths that Carol decides for me.

they're all very nice...

then meet up with Si Hui for dinner and continue walking around window shopping and getting some stuff at Pyramid...

The Thai Thai Kueh Teow Tom Yam soup was very spicy man! but taste nice maybe because of the sour taste. *thumbs up*

was sweating and drank a lot of water... hahaha

then later on need to stay back at Carol's place cuz mr Tan couldn't send me home yet...

felt like disturbing Carol till so late.. now that enryone's now need a rest already... it's already 11pm and mr Tan still not done yet...

was watching comedy show together with Carol, about 3 pp from the IT department.

from 9pm till 11.30 pm... still sorry for disturbing lor

but most importantly thank for everything today...

haiz.. still have tones of things yet to be done... better work hard on them tomorrow.

now, heading to bed and rest...

Mid Year Holiday

Mid year holiday is about 3 weeks... didn't go back to kuching... cuz umm... holiday is short??

ppl kept asking me:" y u're not going back to kucing during the holiday? don't u miss there and ur parents?"

errr... miss them doesn't mean that i have to go back to see them right? i know what im thinking... i talk to them on phone... but it's all boring conversation... so sometimes im tired of talking and the conversation just hanging half way. duuuuuuuuuuu~~~

The the first week of holiday: aunt and grandma came to visit...

The second week: went out wif friends and stayed at home watch drama series

The third week: help out for the orientation as a buddy... yes, i finally joined the orientation buddy. i missed out the previous semester buddy buddy... this sem i finally able to make it.. woohoo!!!

c, when everything comes together, i only have one week break... might as well dun go back huh?

the orientation is tiring lah... especially on the last day... MONOpoly day... phew...

used the whole week to do the mascot... made the hat from newspaper and cardboard, try on the outfit and makeup stuff...

they did all these things till night, i couldn't.. the latest i could help is till 6pm... sry guys.. need to go home early.

MONOpoly: need to run around the campus like a small little group of soldiers... poor thing Li Lian need to run around on the mascot... MAD!!! running around while holding the hat, cuz the hat is not secure enuf on her hat... :P

so the very next day... i think most of us are having muscle pain d... ==!!

i think if possible, im gonna joining the next orientation as a buddy again.. wakakaka... wonder where will be the next orientation bash be?? Genting! Genting!! Genting!!!

went to play water at the water fall... the water was cooling and nice...

wanted to jump into the water but bcuz of that i couldn't .. stupid thing, who ask u to come when i wanted to play with water... haiyerrr...

but still im having fun there...

good thing is... threre's not many leeches there... phew...

cuz im wearing short pants there.

it was a long day out there...

was stuck n the jam for so long when heading back home...

too tired so slept in the car most of the time... trying to stay awake but my eyes keep on shutting down by itself.

sleep with my head "boing" here and there, up and down... luckily my neck still can support my heavy head. hahaha..

but still dun care. continue to sleep...

went to KLCC all of the sudden

dunno y juz agreed to go all the way down to KLCC to watch movie with CC n Mr Tan.

and also Jasmine, Yumni and May Li too.

may be cuz Mr Tan is going as well...

or i promised CC long ago we'll watch movie together...

or i myself miss watching movie in the cinema ??

the girls wanted to have a movie marathon (2 movies at together) while Mr Tan goes to meet someone else at somewhere else.

And Mr Tan going to join in for the second movie

but the movie time doesn't match well. so ended up watching one movie only with Mr Tan

watched Clash of the Titans

very interesting movie

about some sort of Roman God like the Zeus, Hades and bla bla bla

then CC had a spontaneous plan of giving Mr Tan a b'day surprise at Mahanttan Fish Market.

went to buy a Tiramisu cake for him...

It was a successful plan after all. Mr Tan didn't suspect anyone of us. hurrayyy!!!!

the next day is going to be Mr Tan's b'day... i passed him his present at midnight... hope he can wear it lor...

went for paint balling with mr tan, cc and cc's gang...

always wondering go or not to go cuz of work load

i know... i know... CC say i always use work load as an excuse... maybe it's true... seinz...

but in the end still go swt~~

cuz she say i'll miss a lot if i don't and it's once in a life time...

and once in a life time i feel like my life is near the cliff already...

and once in a life time i feel like im gonna get bruise (which luckily i didn't get any even i got hit... phew~~)

and mr tan is going too blek =P mama say ok if i wanna go also...

so conclusion is GO!

during the briefing for the paintball, i already start to feel uneasy there.

the breifer say if u got hit, it would only feels like a pinch and twist at the stomach.

i was like.. "OUCH!!!"

WAR STARTS!!

everybody are so "kanceong" there... i think even though the boys already told told us their tactics... im still blur... as long as i dun get shot and shot someone then ok d .. dun care liao.. haha

the mask making me fell unconfortable especially wearing glasses on it...

and the mask has limited vision as well. would be able to see ppl who attack u from the side.

another things is the mask tends to become a little bit foggy or blur... so i cannot really see who is who from far...

as long as i saw ppl from far, so SHOOT!! including the instructor =P

after the paint ball was so tired and still need to go out for dinner wif mr tan's friends...

they are celebrating his b'day 2 days in advance.

Oh well, Happy early Birthday Mr Tan.

next day woke up in the morning, muscle pain.

and realise i got some "kisses" from the mosquitoes on my arm...

some times going out is good but not when u have things to do at the same time...

after that, went for makan at Full House...

wah... Full House so nice leh...

they sell things inside the retaurant too...

and i ate set meal of the Spaghetti, mushroom soup, ice lemon tea and a dessert. wee...

which cost me rm 16.90

but very full...

CC couldn't finish her drink. she macam drank a quarter of it. ==!!!

after that, follow CC friend to 1 Utama to wach the world pillow fight...

then she finally bought the formal shoe that she wanted so much from Camel Active.

愚人节的那一天

一切本来是非常好的。。。 好像没有人记得今天是愚人节。。。

说以大家就像平常那样的去上课和回家。。。

我就留在学校继续作我的report。。。

本来打算四点才回家的。。。 看到天好像有点暗。。。问一下朋友“我是不是应该现在回家才队，不然等下回下雨? ”他也同意。。。

就快点打包回家咯。。。

谁知道，走路走到一半下大雨。

我被雨淋到湿完了。。。 有雨伞还不是一样。。。 下半身湿完了。

早知道等到四点才回家！！！


回到家，冲好凉，雨就给我停下来了。算了！！
这个还算不了什么。

东西做到一半，收到一个Seaweed 既来得SMS。

上面写着：“我下个月回Kuching 订婚了。记得出席我的订婚典礼。^^ ”

天啊！！！ Seaweed 要订婚了哦！！！

那时候还没想到愚人节这件事。心里就像是怎的吗？？ 我是知道她男朋友了啦，可是是订婚也！！！

太快了吧！！！ 大家还20岁啊!

越想越不对。还是大电话给Wee 和 “霉肉”问一下好了。他们都没有受到类似的 message。他们都说应该八成是我被骗了！！！气死我了。

Meaghan 的离开

Meaghan 已经离开Malaysia 有一个星期了。

已经完成学业的她，不知现在在Australia做什么。

大家都舍不得她的离别。。。

为她庆祝Farewell Party。。。

为了想和她在一起的时间长一天，Carolyn就在他家去过夜。。。到隔天才回学校上课。

有这个朋友是幸福的，是值得珍惜的。。。

很开心能认识到来自Australia的Meaghan。。。

虽然和她不熟，可是知到她是很不错朋友。。。

mY sWEET 20th bIRTHDAY

this time i got a b'day surprise from my friend in uni at the staff lounge... woopeiiii!!!

This was how strategies worked on that day (i guess):

1) go to meet Dr. Siao regarding the report for FST 1800

2) Rachel recieved a call from one of the gang saying she left sth at the staff lounge

then she asked me to accompany her there to get her things

*everything juz seems to be normal to me*juz planning to head home after class*

3) she also says she wants to show me a table that can rotate to me in the staff lounge

*im curious to see the table too*

4) when i got there... actually everyone was already hiding at the other corner

turn around the "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"

it was so "wow!!" that time ^^

thet're all so sweet...

thx to meaghan and lilian for coming over even though they don't have class on that day

i like the cake with strawberryyyyyy... especially the strawberyyyy ^^

last lab for chem 1011 and bio 1011

it's the last lab today .. hurray!!! *cheers*
well, am i suppose to be happy cuz it's the last lab or what?
cuz no need to be afraid of getting the wrong or inaccurate reuslts for the experiment anymore or;
no need to be worried of being the last to finish the exp or;
ne need to do report anymore or;
no need to be questioned or asked to explain the process of certain things in the lab (for plant and animal diversity in BIO 1011 =P)

another things is when the lab ends,
meaning final exam is coming soon *sobs*
and im still unprepared O_o

anyway, everyone are quite ... waht should i call this .... sad?
cuz it's the last lab? (including 40% of me)
hello? this is the only the 1st year and the 1st sem.
it's not like we're not gonna come back anymore...

Mid-Autumn Fest

Missing those days playing lanterns at home... haven play lantern for so long... List of reasons: 1) a bit childish to play wif lantern (but i still like to play wif it) 2) nobody wants to play wif me 3) mr tan left me in kch already 4) no lantern in KL to play with (finding excuse of not playing lantern here =P)

BUT then yesterday she invited me to play lanterns lol i used hers of course cuz i dun have one.. and one of it burn down into ashes lol

i still have lots of lanterns at home all in big plastics bags... dunno whether those kiddy play wif it or burn down any of it or not i hope that won't happen *cross my fingers*

last time i used to play lantern alot wif mr tan and he even used his mini bino to watch the moon... to check out whether anyone is on the moon or not (eg. wu gang chopping the tree, a rabbit and chang er) of course those are juz myth lol
ps: amyone who read this plz dun tell mr tan that i said sth about this =P


i used to have the kind of lantern that never burn down the electronic one that can cause sound pollution if everyone around the neighborhood are using it together at a time =P but now most of them are spoiled in a way that either the bulb burns out
sth to do wif the wire
or the battery not working for the lantern anymore.

Cyclig at Bukit Cahaya

this morning went cycling at Bukit Cahaya... which i never been there b4
the weather is nice in the morning.. not too sunny and no rain =)
good day!
there's lots of different parks there
some are being abandoned
some are fake which is different from what it suppose to be
but still have a great day there.


1st went to the animal garden i see:


rabbits


deer
can u spot the deers? they camouflage themselves with the tree trunk =P


porcupine (they are so smelly)


parrot


then went to the fishing lake


4 season house
(where u can only find one season inside - summer)


mushroom park where u can't find any mushrooms there.
and there's a tree house there.. there's a nice view from the tree house. =)

orchid park and hydroponic house that's being abandoned

went to Taman Rempah Ratus
and found that they planted this there
i called this "Rebina plant"

cycling down the hill was dangerous but fun
while cycling up the hill is way tired
and we ended up pushing our bikes along =P

this time my holiday is quite fun compared to last time
more outings hehehe...

and i guess this should be how we gonna celebrate the mid autumn festival here

Field Trip (doing sampling)

went for another field trip with mr tan and his 3 other friends today
today's hiking is more challenging than the one in F.R.I.M. ...
lots of big rocks and stones... no pathway to walk up (meaning we need to find our own way up ==!!! ) and more leeches too (according to mr tan and Chris, his fren from Australia), luckily we're all some from them V^w^V
i heard they say the place where they take samples is near Dr Cathy's house, well i have no idea about that. all i know is juz sit in the car and mr tan leads the way... muahaha

after we're done, all our shoes are soak.
sand enter even we're wearing covered shoes.
and my pants are wet until the knee part.
too bad it rain half way, so we cannot go further up to look at the lake.
so we get back to the car asap!!

tomorrow mr tan going to Kuala Selangor (peat swamp), i want to follow too but he say not suitable for me.. oh well, maybe juz take a day off then =P

Trip to FRIM

1st hiking trip in KL .... been so long here and this is my 1st hiking... weee....
i think at 1st mr tan scared to let me go... maybe cuz
he thinks he need to look after me? or
he thinks i might get bitten by insects like leeches?? eeewww....
forget about it .. nw that im really going to FRIM V^w^V

took some pictures there.. the forest is amazing...
the weather is fine.. it's good that it doesn't rain...
if it rains... juz shout "GO AWAY U UGLY, SLIMY LEECHES!!" then run
cuz all of them will come out chasing after human, searching for food (human's blood)
leeches= vampire's best friend =P

and i saw a leech...
its not as fat (or huge) as our thumb and ugly
the one i saw is thin but still ugly



1st stop.. the giant bamboo and everyone are fascinated by it ...


and they called this "sth- footprint" (ghost footprint if im not mistaken) cuz it shaped like a footprint




then took pictures of some plants and flowers


and mushrooms...


and mini waterfall

after that when to Megan's place (friend from Australia) to drop her off. and saw sth interesting on her food menu.

then laslt is HOME!!!
need a shower!!!
